Key Responsibilities:
- Contract & document Management
Draft, review, format, and process standard legal documents and correspondence under supervision, Maintain and update the company’s contract management system and legal document repository, track contract milestones (renewals, expirations, obligations) and notify relevant stakeholders.
- Regulatory & CG Support
Assist in preparing and filing mandatory disclosures and reports to regulatory bodies (e.g., Qatar Financial Markets Authority, Qatar Stock Exchange), Support compliance in line with corporate governance codes and internal policies, maintain statutory registers and corporate records for the listed entity and its subsidiaries, ensure timely filings and adherence to governance timelines.
- Dispute Support
Coordinate with external counsel regarding litigation and arbitration matters, gather evidence, organize case files, and maintain litigation records, track deadlines for submissions, hearings, and settlements.
- Legal Research Assistance
Assist with gathering legal documents and performing basic research under supervision
- Filing & Record Keeping
Maintain and organize legal files, records, and databases (both electronic and physical).
- Administrative Support
Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments for legal Director.
- Filing & Record Keeping
Maintain updated legal records, case files, and regulatory documents in compliance with internal procedures.
- Correspondence Handling
Prepare and route internal and external communications, including the documents to the regulatory bodies. as well as the annual/periodic disclosures.
- Invoice & Budget Tracking
Handle invoices and liaise with Finance to track external counsel expenses and budget.
Qualifications:
- Fresh graduate in bachelor’s degree in law or related field certificate.
- Professional certification in Microsoft office is preferred "not a must"
Experience Required:
- 1–2 years of experience in a legal support role, preferably within the retail sector
Skills:
- Strong communication skills in English and Arabic.
- Legal research and analysis.
- Drafting and reviewing documents.
- Case files management.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for drafting legal documents, data management, and preparing professional presentations.
