Job Summary:

  • To ensure that appropriate financial and accounting processes are in place for accurate and timely documentation and reporting of financial information, in accordance with management, regulatory and IFRS requirements.
  • Develop and implement all processes, policies and procedures for the Finance
  • Department in relation to financial control and management reporting.
  • Manage the day to day operations of the Finance Department
  • Maintain the highest standards of professional conduct, ethics and integrity.
  • Provide guidance on IFRS technical requirements related to Al Meera’s financial statements.
  • Liaise with government and regulatory authorities for compliance with reporting requirements.
  • Prepare consolidated and stand-alone financial statements of Al Meera and it’s subsidiaries.
  • Coordinate with external auditors on the quarterly and annual financial audits.
  • Follow-up on internal audit observations and implement recommendations.
  • Forecast cash flow requirements and implement an effective cash flow management policy.
  • Manage the financial control process across the Company through proper reconciliation of all related systems, accounts, sub-ledgers, etc. and preparing management reports.
  • Prepare consolidated budgets and monitor actual vs. budget variances.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent.
  • Professional qualification such as CA, CPA, ACCA, SMA or equivalent.


  • 7+ years finance experience, including 4+ years audit experience.


  • Strong people management and analytical skills.
  • Relevant experience in ERP systems (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle etc.)
  • Proficiency in English, both verbal and written (Qatari National)
