Nojoom Points now available at 10 Al Meera stores

In line with its motto “Your Favourite Neighbourhood Retailer" Al Meera Consumer Goods Company (Q.S.C) signed a partnership with Ooredoo’s Nojoom , Qatar’s multiple-award winning loyalty programme, recently at the Al Meera’s headquarters, to provide new awards to its customers.

The contract was signed by Dr. Mohamed Nasser Al Qahtani, Al Meera's Deputy Chief Executive Officer, and Mr. Yousuf Abdulla Al Kubaisi, Chief Executive Officer – Global Services, Ooredoo, in presence of a number of departmental directors and staff from both parties. 

The new partnership will allow Al Meera customers to earn and redeem points with the award winning Nojoom programme when shopping with Al Meera branches in Mansoura, Bin Omran, Khalifa South, Hazm Al Markhiya, Azghawa, Al Merqab, Wakra, Airport hypermarket, Legtaifiya and Nuaija. 

Nojoom Red and Nojoom Silver members will earn one Nojoom Point for every QR 6 and Nojoom Gold members earn two Nojoom Points for every QR 6.   

To earn Nojoom Points, members simply present their QIDs along with the bill and registered number to customer service at Al Meera. Points will be added to member’s Nojoom account the following month.  Moreover, members have the choice to redeem points for Al Meera vouchers that can be used to purchase a variety of goods from Al Meera stores.

Commenting on the partnership, Dr. Mohamed Nasser Al Qahtani, Al Meera DCEO, said

 “We believe that our customers are at the forefront of everything we do. In 10 different stores of Al Meera, Ooredoo customers will be able to earn and benefit from their points by exchanging them with Al Meera groceries and purchase a range of quality products”.

From his part, Mr. Yousuf Abdulla Al Kubaisi, Chief Executive Officer – Global Services from Ooredoo, said:

This partnership is beneficial to customers of both parties of the agreement, providing customers with a unique shopping experience that meets their daily necessities.

 Al Meera is working in its full potential to get the construction phase of its 15 malls accomplished by 2015. The malls will be opening, according to four innovative designs, in Sailiya North, Rawdat Ekdeem, Umm Salal, Leabaib 1, Leabaib 2, Bu Sidra, Al Wakra2, Rawdat Aba El-Herran, Azghawa, Al Khor, Um Qarn, Rawdat Al Hamama, Jeryan Junaihat, Al Sailiya, and Ain Khaled.
